The MQ-138 is a metal oxide semiconductor gas sensor designed primarily for detecting Formaldehyde (HCHO) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the air.
Technical Specifications
· Detection Range: 5 to 500 ppm (parts per million) for most target vapors.
· Target Gases: Formaldehyde (HCHO), toluene, acetone, alcohol, methanol, benzene, and hydrogen.
· Operating Voltage: 5.0V ± 0.1V DC for the built-in heater coil.
· Preheat Time: Over 48 hours for stable calibration and accurate readings.
· Output Signals: Dual-signal capable, providing both an Analog Output (AO) for varying gas intensity and a Digital Output (DO) for simple threshold alerts.
